Founding Information

After several great years on the web as "My Chauffeur", The Rolling Rods Network was created in 1995, to promote communication between automotive enthusiasts on the Internet. After a successful three years on the World Wide Web, the program was discontinued because of time constraints and poor web server qualities.

With Our New Hosting Servers - We Got Hot!!

Today, with connections to top quality web servers and efforts from other business entities, the Rolling Rods Network is back online. And, we are here to stay.

As we completely re-develop this website, we need input from every automotive enthusiast on the Internet. We hope to be able to attract interest from persons from all walks of life, regardless of their particular passion for automobiles. We intend to provide a forum for finding automobile parts & accessories, automotive events in many locations across America, feature items of interest to mechanics, streetrodders, classic & antique car lovers and most anyone else who loves the automobile.

As we grow, we will find dealers who offer car parts, automobile sales, automotive services, etc. We will solicit discounts for those in our membership. We have partnered with other websites that offer low cost web hosting & design services for most any automotive-related business on top quality webservers.

American Cars - American Passion

Since the dawn of the automobile, Americans have had an unyielding passion for driving and owning a car. In the last 50 years, owning older, classic automobiles has become a hobby of untold magnitude for many Americans. From the average guy down the street to famous celebrities, American people love their cars. It is a passion that has virtually become a tradition.

Famous Collectors
Jay Leno is an avid car buff. He has a nice collection of cars in Los Angeles. Clive Cussler, an author of over two dozen top selling novels, is an avid collector of cars. Here, in the Denver area, he has a collection of 80 of the rarest cars in the world. Many are foreign makes and many more are American-made cars, limos and even a motorcycle or two. Cussler enjoys his cars and uses them as inspiriation for many of the chapters in his novels.

Honoring a Tradition
In celebration of this American tradition, we have developed the Rolling Rods Network to give anyone who has a passion for cars - a place to become part of the online automotive network. Our website will afford any collector, any enthusiast and any motorhead who owns one or more of these beauties, a chance to show them off without having to find, join or follow a particular "club".

Cars and Charity
American car collectors have had a long standing relationship with charity groups. Automotive events, such as car shows, are frequently done to raise funds for these worthwhile organizations. As Americans with automotive passions, we believe in helping those who are less fortunate and we always want to assist the families of children who need lots of help just to maintain a quality of life.

Car shows are a great way to blend American tradition with American spirit. Please support local charity car shows and give a little help to those who are burdoned with health problems and medical bills and can't enjoy the same thrill of owning something as precious as a classic American automobile.
